Boycie originally came to us from a local dog warden having been found wandering, though how anyone managed to 'lose' him is hard to imagine, maybe he was dumped.

He is a lovely happy little dog who loves cuddles. He is good with children and likes to play ball. He can jump very high, especially considering his short legs and would be excellent at Agility.

He was our' Star' at Discover Dogs last November where he never put a paw wrong, greeting young and old all day.

He does need to bond to a new owner and does suffer from separation anxiety so would not suit a home where he was left for more than a few hours but would be much happier accompanying his owner to work or in a stableyard situation where he could potter about all day. He is used to horses.

He is ok with dogs he knows and could possibly live with the right other dog but may be better as the only dog.

He is unpredictable with some dogs he meets so would need a responsible/ experienced owner who could cope with this.

He was in a foster home for four months with a female SBT and with no big problems walking him. Likewise with us he walks with our dogs and we are able to exercise him without any problems.
